Vortex scope cant level
Very easy to mount anywhere on scope tube left or right side. Sticks out far enough to see it without extending too far. Good size bubble also makes this easy to see to level up rifle before the shot. Good design where support is needed under the level itself will help to protect it against damage if it were bumped against something. Another fine product from Vortex at a good price.

Easy way to improve your shot groups.
I noticed at the range that some of my shot groups were very tight then would from time to time spread out a bite or have a flyer that I didn't call. I read an article about making sure your reticle was exactly perpendicular to the rifle barrel and the target. I take great pains when I mount optics but noticed that I have a natural tendency to turn the reticle slightly to the left without knowing. I was starting to check each shot with a level. Amazing how many times I was leaning left. I think the article I read said that at 100 yards a one degree cant to the optic can cause about a .5 inch deviation. Then at longer ranges it gets worse.
So I looked online to find a reasonably priced level I could mount on my optic and came across this Vortex. Since I have a Vortex 6-25x50 mounted on the rifle it was appropriate. I got it in and mounted it as directed onto the 30mm tube. It has improved my shot groups and looks good in the process. I do not hunt, only bench rest and punch paper...
Solid, secure, must have!
I recieved this rifle cant bubble in great packaging, and quickly! It is a very solid mount, and the hardware that came with it is stainless, which is great when you live in a wet area, and shoot in it! The bubble is easily visible when mounted on the scope, just by taking a peek with your weak eye, which means you dont have to move your cheek weld to check your cant. This bubble is currently mounted on a Rem700 SPS AAC-SD with a B&C Medalist in .308. It is a solid product, great price!
