If you're tired of trying to clean the inside of your sleeping bag and it's constantly getting dirty, an ALPS Mountaineering Rectangle Sleeping Bag Liner will be a great solution. Using a liner will eliminate all the dirt that gets transferred from the great outdoors to your sleeping bag. Liners are easy to remove and toss into the washer when you get back home (a lot easier than trying to clean the whole inside of your bag!) If you ever need a light cover in the summer time, the liner can double as a sheet as well. Fabric Choices: Poly Cotton (#4900011) or MicroFiber (#5900014). Stuff sack included. Shape: Rectangle. Dimensions: 33" x 80". Weight: 1 pound, 5 ounces. Zipper: #5.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

The zipper is the only drawback
This product is great for adding about 5 degrees more of warmth or to use alone on a hot, humid summer night. It's soft, washes up nicely and air dries quickly too. It rolls up into about the size just slightly larger than a 12 oz. can. It's also 33" wide, making it nice and roomy to turn in. It's also much, much less expensive than some of the sleep sheets out there. The zipper goes the full length and that's a great feature, but my zipper concern is that it doesn't "lock" into place. When you do move a little bit the zipper doesn't stay in place and I found myself having to use safety pins to prevent it from unzipping too far. There is a velcro area at the top of the bag and that would keep it from unziipping, but rare is the time I want anything zipped up all the way so it's not really all that helpful to have that there at all. Other than that I have nothing but good things to say about this product.

wonderful for the jungle
This liner was the perfect cover for keeping bugs off in the Amazon. It was light weight, extremely packable, and worked well in a hammock.
not used for what it's made for...
I am not using this item as a micro liner for my sleeping bag. I actually use it as a fitted sheet for my ALPS XXL Comfort series sleeping pad. (4" thick version) and it works great and fits perfect. The zipper that goes all the way around is a good feature. It also protects the pad from sharp objects and gives it an "at home" sleeping experience.
