Read the warning lable before buying!!!
It is perfect for what I bought it for, but I'm old and don't give a darn. There is a tag on the fishing pole it self. Which reads "Warning: This product contains lead, a chemical known to the state of California to cause cancer and birth defects and other reproductive harm." I did not see this until after I received it. The problem as I see is: It is designed for small children and it a child should not be around lead. This warning should be made public before buying it for a child.

Smaller than I thought
Perhaps I did not read the description of this very well. But this is a very small rod. Mostly appropriate for 3-5 year old. I was looking for something a little bigger for the 7-10 age range kid.
