A completely new concept in compression dry bags - there is no valve. This innovation uses an air-permeable base made of eVent waterproof fabric, which allows air to be pushed out of the sack, but won’t allow water to get back in. Proper Use: Any roll-top dry sack must be closed properly to ensure water can’t get in. Begin by folding the Hypalon strip down first and be sure to have at least three rolls before closing the buckle. Avoid contact with sharp objects or subjecting the sack to high abrasion, as this could compromise the waterproof fabric. Like all manufacturers of roll-top, fabric dry sacks, Sea to Summit recommends that sensitive electronic devices be ‘double bagged’ (i.e. putting electronics inside one dry sack then placing this inside a second dry sack). For maximum protection, the use of a waterproof hard case should be considered.
With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Great for motorcycle camping
This medium sized compression sack is perfect for a down sleeping bag..even a 0 degree size. On a motorcycle, size is more important than weight. This bag works very well and is waterproof. I bungie my wife's and my sleeping bags in these sacks to ride on top of the saddlebags next to the rear seat. The manufacturing seems to be first rate. No seams are strained. No buckles broken. I'm not going to try a dunk test, but in mild rain, the bags came out perfectly dry. Never store a sleeping bag compressed, but for traveling, this Sea to Summit brand is a good choice.

worked great
107 miles of canoeing and 40 or so portages in BWCA/Quetico and the dry stuff stayed dry.
I set on mine under water to make sure it worked before going.
I had my dry clothes, sleeping bag and sleeping pad in the large bag.
Great Waterproof Bag
I originally purchased this compression dry bag to store my sleeping bag and clothes in during backpacking trips. It worked wonderfully, not once letting any kind of moisture in. More recently, I used it as a dry bag for a few kayaking and white water rafting trips. It sat in the bottom of the kayak in a pool of water, and didn't let any water in. Rafting down the Gauley, it served its purpose well, even when the raft flipped. I love this bag!
